The C-4 Cocktail event is dedicated to the memory of friend and extended family member Charles H. Keating IV (aka C-4) who was killed in action while conducting US combat operations against ISIS in Iraq on May 3, 2016. The C-4 cocktail, featuring Black Seal rum, was created especially in Charlie's honor and is available in the dining room as well as at the bar.

The C4Foundation was established in Charlie's memory to provide support and services to US Navy SEALS.  The mission of the Charles Humphrey Keating IV Foundation (C4 Foundation) is to contribute to the mental and physical health and well-being of active duty US Navy SEALs and their family members to preserve family unity. The centerpiece of this mission is a 560 acre fully improved retreat property in eastern San Diego County. The retreat will be a sanctuary for rest, regeneration and re-connection of SEAL fathers, wives and children and will offer research-backed programs to build optimistic and resilient relationship tools for individuals and SEAL families.
