"Age By Design" Recipe Swap

Join the Jesup Memorial Library, Island Connections, the YWCA Mount Desert Island and the Mount Desert Island YMCA for a recipe swap and coffee hour at the Jesup on Thursday, Jan. 17 at 10 a.m. Bring copies of a recipe and leave with more recipes to try.
 
This event is part of Age By Design and is cosponsored by the Jesup, Island Connections, the YWCA MDI and the MDI YMCA. Age By Design is a series of programs and community discussions that explore various facets of life for those older than 50 and create opportunities for community get-togethers.
 
“Age By Design is all about creating the community we want to age into,” said Melinda Rice, program director at the Jesup Memorial Library. Individual programs will focus on physical health, mental and spiritual health, finances, caregiving, lifelong learning and building community. There will be at least one program each month in 2019.
