The type of chowder is dependent on the catch of the day and usually fish. The secrets of the base will give you many options of the types of chowder to make at home. You may volunteer to assist the chef in front of the class or just enjoy watching. At the end of the class, you will have a taste of chowder, a hot popover, and be given written recipes for chowder and popovers to be used at home to enjoy with your friends and family.
