Description
Join us for an evening creating colorful, woolen pods to use as planters and mini baskets. In this workshop students will choose from piles of wool roving and natural, unprocessed wool to create their vessel. We will be combining wet and dry felting techniques using our extensive array of raw sheep’s wool, dyed fleece, frayed silk saris, feathers, felted sweater scraps, wire, shimmery slivers of metallic fabric and beads.
We supply it all - no experience necessary! You will learn a wet felting technique using soapy water and agitation. Once constructed, beaded and feathery details may be added to elaborate with. This is a great workshop designed to create fun and functional art.
All materials, instruction, as well as wine and tea will be provided
