Inner Field Trip®: Puppetry with Lelania Avila Sunday, June 8, 9 AM - 12 PM in the Dance Studio and Kaleidoscope Studio Each month participate in a Guided Adventure that includes meditation, reflection, art, movement and sound current healing: Inner Field Trip®. This is a longer version of the weekly Relax, Reflect, Recharge class, focused on our monthly theme. (Attendance at the weekly Relax, Reflect, Recharge class is not required.) During this three-hour session you will be guided through an experience of art, meditation and movement, with an emphasis on puppetry. Experience Emotional Agility & Liberation! Using found objects and our imagination, we will create puppets, and then use them to explore storylines of Conflict that lead to Cooperation. Class starts in the Dance Studio for meditation and movement, then proceeds to the Kaleidoscope Studio for puppet making. We return to the dance studio where we complete the workshop with sound current healing. About the Instructors: Lelania Avila is a multi-media process artist who works in the media of animation/video production, block printing, calligraphy, collage, poetry and puppetry. Lelania (she, we, tributary) playfully approaches challenges, embracing emotions as a guide to inner wisdom. She builds community through the healing arts: Art of Listening, Art of Slowing Down, Art of Interruptions!, and the Art of Simply Being. With gratitude to get to live, work and play in the homeland of the Wabanaki Confederacy, she is dedicated to becoming a better ancestor and global citizen. She is currently working on a multi-media project called "The Ism-Schism from the Inside Out".
