The 16th Annual Islesford Fair on Little Cranberry Island will be held on Monday August 12th from 10am to 2pm. The Islesford Fair is fun for all ages with a Silent Auction with Items from Local Artists, White Elephant, Great Food, Bounce House, Games, Races, Beach Combers, Live Music, Toys, Furniture, Antiques, Art, Raffle, Used Clothing, Boatbuilding Demonstration, Islesford Historical Society Publications, Baked Goods, and more. All proceeds from the fair go directly to island organizations, including Islesford Volunteer Fire Department, Islesford Historical Society, Islesford Boatworks, Islesford Neighborhood House Association, and the Cranberry Island Realty Trust, among others. Getting there: Take the ferry to the Cranberry Isles departing from Northeast or Southwest Harbor. Boats leave from Northeast Harbor via Beal and Bunker Ferry at 7:30, 10, 12, and 2 and Southwest Harbor via Cranberry Cove Ferry at 7:15, 9:15, and 11:15.
