Thanks to local stewardship, millions of alewives are returning to Maine’s rivers, streams, and ponds - numbers that have not been seen in decades. Learn about the growing effort along Maine’s coast to bring back this iconic species, including how alewives are managed and why MCCF is supporting a local effort in Bagaduce River communities. Join us for a presentation that explores a local model that will help inform statewide policies and sustain these important efforts.
