Metal Etching with Sarah Regan

Description

In this metal etching workshop, you’ll learn the basics of working with sheet metal to create pieces with a raised image of your choice. You’ll learn to use a resist to apply a design on copper, then a chemical to etch into the copper and brass. The pieces you create can be used for jewelry, or any number of other projects! You’ll also learn the basics of cutting, filing, and shaping metal. Please be sure to wear clothing you don’t mind staining, as the etching chemicals will stain like iodine.
