When we take away the options of various colors, we are left with a simple task of using value to create form. A monochromatic painting uses one color in various values or shades to create an image. This makes the watercolor painting process much easier to approach. Students will be guided step by step to create an image of layered mountains and trees in the foreground, choosing one shade of blue for their painting. Sip on wine, tea or seltzer as part of this adults-only class, which is suitable for artists of all levels who are at least 21 years old. All materials and beverages provided. Registration is required.
