Paint in the fresh air on the quiet side of Mount Desert Island on Friday, Aug. 25 from 9am to noon with local artist Erika Rosso a three-hour plein air workshop near the shore at Seal Cove rending granite, boats an water at Seal Cove Dock off the Cape Road in Tremont. Erika's teaching style encourages a playful approach to watercolor painting that all levels will find enjoyable. Bring your own painting materials or request a set from the museum. You may also want to bring a chair and easel, water, sunhat, and sunscreen. The fee is $30 or $25 for Museum members and registration is required at www.wendellgilleymusuem.org/calendar
