Description
The Wendell Gilley Museum will be open and welcoming visitors on the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving, Nov. 24 and 25, 10am to 4pm. Create crafts, play games, and puzzle over puzzles. There also will be a special holiday sale in the Museum Store. Everything except consignment items will be 10% off for non-members and 20% off for museum members. This is a chance to see the new winter exhibit of art from past People-Nature-Art presenters – everything from wood carvings and linocuts, to collagraphs, photographs and paintings of all types. You can also marvel at the battalion of battle ducks in the decoy pool created by Northeast Harbor artist Richard Huck. Admission is $10 per person (free to members) with anyone 12 and younger admitted for free. The museum is closed Thanksgiving Day.
