I began this with my children and their friends decades ago and the tradition continues. We will be using the same tools and methods that have been used for hundreds of years. Gather with family or friends to batik - dipping in dyes and applying warm wax over the areas you want to keep, to make colorful elaborate designs. Try out the electric version of a kistka, or combine techniques. Follow traditional patterns, or create your own designs!
