PET OF THE WEEK This week’s star is Sirius, and she’s serius-ly cute! This sweet girl came to the SPCA-HC as a stray with her kitten. Her kitten was adopted and she’s enjoying the empty-nester life, but now she’s waiting for her furever home. Raising a kitten as a stray was quite stressful so she can be a bit shy when meeting new people. Once she has a few minutes to warm up, Sirius a silly, playful gal! She likes to show her belly, get the zoomies, and fling her favorite toys around. Sirius loves “kicker”
Hi, I'm Toffee! I may look like a tiny kitten, but I’m actually a fully grown 2-year-old cat with a huge heart and lots of love to give. I’m a sweet and gentle soul who’s been through a lot, so I might seem a little shy at first. We do know that when he came into our care, he required a full shave to remove matting that was several inches deep which is why he has a handsome lion haircut. He doesn’t love it, but we think it looks dashing. With his senior age,
PET OF THE WEEK We are very pleased to introduce our purrfect 3-legged kitty resident, Mr. Nubbins! What he lacks in a hind right leg, he makes up for in heart. This absolute love bug came into our care, from stray holding, so we unfortunately do not know anything about his history, or how he lost his hind leg, but the vet believes he was born with it that way. Our best estimate at his age is around 3 years old. He is a vocal cat who loves telling people all about his day while they pet his soft fur and
